Just don´t look and you´ll see her. She floats on the surface between soul and world. She is here and not here. She feeds what lives and is near in times of distance. She brings a message, beauty and light. Blue-green on green-blue, sparkle and ripple.

Reflections

Art is a conversation with the other. Does my work work? Does it appeal? Does it do something? And what does it do? Art is also a conversation with yourself. 'Me and myself' is a recurring theme. Here and there you surface, looking at your reflection. Portraits say something about the mirrored. When you look at yourself in the mirror you see life, your life, the signs of the times, your drawings.

Lust for the eye

Plant splendour close to where I was born and lived. Flowers as a wonderful combination of impermanence and eternal beauty. Then and now, flowers colour my life and enrich my dance through life. From exam work to sketches. Just like that. At any time of the day, they blossom and demand paint and pencil, paper and colour.

Brain images

Changes come and go in waves. Just like ebb and flow.
Sometimes it is waiting for a certain moment to come.
What I did then was what I knew then.
The 'sleepers' keep the railway awake.
I can see that now.

Wandering lines

From very different sources of inspirations, I arrive at my own door. My own handwriting. Setting lines, making spots, seeing what happens. Then I am not thinking but following the movement. Just doing, without judgement, living the adventure. Keep wondering, get lost, be curious. Explore and discover the world.
